Just I feel that a response form the devs would be nice, as this has been almost the same for more than a year, and i cant see them continuing like this. There are months when it goes down to 80 players, i cant imagine that this is good.
Well it was encouraging that they finally implemented the beacon reclaim. But then they go and make an update involving stacks and, for the love of God, gleambow racing of all things. Nobody that is interested in coming back gives a rat's boody about gleambow racing. The game badly needs real content. There's enough farming, building, and shops already, let's get something new.
When they broke the promise of staying self-published and never selling-out to a 3rd party...
Best way to appease us and bring the players back??? Open up the legacy servers (old universe)
The old universe was EPIC! and had the biggest numbers and people would play 12 hours ++++++++++++++ per day!!!!!!!!!
Otherwise i AGREE the servers SHOULD close... cut off their *blood supply* and maybe they will finally GET IT???
by old universe i mean *pre-release* (pre ps4 etc)

To point out, there is still no answer/response form the dev team. Puts a chill down my spine how i look at the content which was promised but is not there, i feel like i got taken advantage of.
So much content beyond titans and armor, things like pets, breeding, mounts, and vehicles. Not to mentions the NPCs that could run your village for you and the NPC with which you could trade. I have the 2014 list of all features to be included in the game and still more than half is not there.
The least they can do is is give some communication, but no, we at the bottom of the barrel for these guys, they got paid.
To be absolutely clear, we have no plans to close the servers. We are actively continuing to develop Boundless, and have big plans for the future of the game.
then give us what was promised! or people will continue to leave and also speak out... hoe long has it been stagnant now? 2 years? 18 months?. .. well less to be fair, release was summer 2018... but how far has the team come since then SamF? does it not prove that you are working for con artists? or are you a paid shill?
If you were 100% honest with WHAT is coming and WHEN then maybe we would give you guys room to breath!

What are the big plans for the future and why does it need to be so unclear, can you elaborate more on whats being developed as well as tell us when the content which was promised will be released.
I agree with the previous posts, I myself have been wanting this content to drop for such a long time, and frankly you not providing us with enough answers as to when or if you even working on it, based the fact that you gave such a vague and unclear response, which there is no reason for, and maybe its only me who thinks like this, but i cant believe you.
Please take this to heart, Your game is my highest played game ever, I truly miss it, however the way things are being handled in terms of content and transparency put a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths.
Whoever your dev team is listening to, or whoever is making decisions, is or has clearly not seen the reviews of the game, the countless posts on here or the original forums complaining about content that is not in the game, the fact that steam forums feel like wasteland at this point is another concern which no one is taking seriously, yet you have this cult that pushes people to the original forums which is killing your game because it means there are no players active enough to be here.
To tell you, to go through all that effort of going to the original forums, signing up, verifying the email and then posting, it turns people off, especially kids, who i guess is your target audience.
These are the things you need to look at, look at how a new player will see your game, get rid of your cult group on the forums they destroying this games image by defending the current state of the game, its clearly not going well!
I truly miss this game, however it puts a bitter taste in my mouth every time i think about it.
I so wish things would change for the better.
I wish with all my being that someone there will here me after 2 years of pushing this subject.
You always say there is content coming but we have yet to see it.
The other thing i wanted to share was, i had one person i met in Boundless, we both played this game for 700+ hours, we both left at the same time, about 1.5 years later i contacted him and asked if he was willing to come back with me to boundless and his answer was, he would rather play an out dated game (7DTD) that is worse than boundless in my opinion than to come back because as i quote the devs are doing nothing. This is how people see you.
I really hope the game to change for the better, I miss it!

Any way... Cacttos i wwish i could write as good and peacably as you do, but eh...
The above post says it all really... but i will say and stick by these very heavily valid points - as politely as i can...
1. James (lead dev) promised that they would never use a 3rd party publisher and keep it in-house... six months later he broke that promise by letting Square get their hands on it (that promise would be archived on the forums by the way)
2. The *yet to be seen* promises of above (the promised updates which never came etc)
3. The *promise* (also archived) that they would never (in any way) monitize the game!
4. I stand by what i say... the old universe was far better and that was when we had upwards of 2k++ players in the game... since updating to the *release universe* the players have dropped heavily (could it be to the STORE i wonder (as a main fasctor)?
Like Cacttos i LOVE this game (or used to) please check my combined hours here and also as I_R_Barney since 2016!
I have tried to stick up for this game as much as possible... but to keep being brushed aside with *don't worry... updates coming* for the past 2 years and never seeing them (apart from the pointless farming and coin update) hurts a lot...
The question is... is it the developers fault? or Squares?
