I ask anyone that is playing the game or have been playing the game for longer than 20 hours to reply here and say something about your experiance of the game. why you like the game and dislikes the game. it may be what you are planning on doing ar release. Be honest but do it in a civil manner, please

We had an disscussion on the Official Boundless Forums. that led to that this forum may not really reflect the game or the players that do play the game and love the game.

The reason is that most of us is using the Official Boundless Forums

So who am i then to say that this forum may not reflect the game. im VirresSs and Questing Knight. I bought the game in April 2016 but back then i didnt play the game bacuse the game need allot of development i liked the concept and all the cool featurs. So i followed it and now Ive been playing the game from november 2017. to be honest i usaly get bored with game within a months or two. but this game has keept my intresst and now im up to 2800 hours, leading Portal Seekers Guild, Leading Community Hunts sevral days a Week, im deeply invloved in the community.

This is a slow phase game and keep you striving to to build more and more. it takes time to lvl up and learn how to play the game, but thats just one of the thing that makes this game great. You need to find players to learn more about the game and with and work togeather. this helps to Create smal or big communitys within the game and this is the strongest feature that make the game grate. Its and MMO where we build the game from the rules, tools and worlds that the Devs (gods) have given us. but we build the cities we create the economy (suply and demand). we create infrastructure. Its up to you if you want be the next leader of hunts or Mayor of a city or just be the miner nobody knows. Never forget to ask for help, becaus everyone i know in this game and i know alot of players, will help you if you just ask, he they migh be your friend too!

Rember the game is still in EA and the Release isnt Before the 11 sept. that also means that the devs still have time to fix many of the issues and add the last features. like tutorials, worlds and so on.

well my personal thoughts (since 2015/16?)

I personally *originaly* bought this, JUST after the name change from Oort Online (about 2 months later... maybe 6) I refunded at that time simply because it did not reflect the advertizing videos at the time.

Then i repurchased in the summer of 2016 after a lot was added... The had been playing on and off because i didn't like XXX... then i didn't like XXX... they fixed XXX... but then made me hate XXX.

Since i first started playing i have always been very *vocal* here and on the forums about what i HATE and etc (i'm sorry but i can be VERY opinionated)

However, now that 1.0 is just around the corner (and my personal life has resolved itself) I am back yet again... and i would just like to say, it is a vast improvement on when i last played back in about feb/March/May

I won't discuss what i love in-depth... i could talk about the Hunts/Meteors/the amazing Builds you can do... the sandbox nature of an RPG/ Community Based MMO done right... but this has been explained tons of times by other people.

My only request is that Steam becomes a lot more active and no more *Eh blahblah we are on the forums blahblah* this is VERY annoying to people... I mean... Its released through Steam... be more active TRHOUGH Steam!

Not meaning you personally QuestingKnight... but people in general who say this negatively :)

I have been playing this game for all most a year now over 3500 hr's. I have seen many updates and changes and for me it has only gotten better. I am mostly a solo player but in this game i have made 100s of friends and the community hunts have been so much fun and even community builds like the city in one day build that was so cool and loads of fun to be part of and the city made it in to the game trailer. There are so many thing to do that i never run out of somrthing i want to do each day. I love to go exploreing to see the new builds on all 12 planits soon to be more. The dev's do play the game and one of my many best memories is when i was out exploreing and 2 of the devs came runing up and said hi and gave me some gleam lanterns i had only been playing for 3 or 4 weeks i was in shock lol. This game has everything i was looking for in a game hunting mining crafting and things i was not looking for friends and an outstanding community as a bonuse. I will admit starting from lvl 1 can be frustrating at times but i like that and you can work thru it. I dont want a game that hands everything to you i want to work for it. So if you are playing the game from the start give it a chance and if you don't play the game then you don't know what your missing and there are many players that will help you anytime if you ask and if you see me in game say hi and if you need anything ask i will and have help many.

Its fine i can take it and its the truth, game need more activity on steam as it sells the game and we all would love a bigger player base.

but then the Official forum have alot of features the devs and we never can get on steam platform. also that it going to suport the PS4 that don't uses steams platform. then agen some players dont have the game on steam to. steam is not the ultamate patform but it needs more activity to it both for helping new players and reach out to more people as boundless is a Great Game and have huge potentials! but thats only if we let it have it and buy the game and join the community where ever it is...

I am a relative Noob compared to DuneDragon and Viresss.... I have maybe 700 Hours in the game, however in that short amount of time I have managed to grow my town (Sparta) to become the capital of Berlyn (USA West Home)

The Spartan Apella is now a household name inside of the game for places to go to find the things you need to buy other notable shops are Gemporium, Omni's, Hearthstone, Larva Fall's, Concrete's, \\\V&W/// , and there are a host of other notable shops!

The fact their are so many shops inside of the game is a testament to how good the economy is in the game.... Most enjoyable economy I have partaken in since SWG and Ultima Online!!!

I have often said about games that one of the best ways to truelly judge if a game is worth a salt is too look at the hours people have played..... Its one thing to recommend a game its another to truelly love a game... When you commonly see people with 300+ hours inside of a game or 1000's of hours in game then it must have some secret sauce too it.....

And Boundless is one of those few games that has that secret sauce!

Cool. yeah we in portal seekers are planing to set up a huge network. im right now wroking on the Magic voxel layout so its easier to get help from everyone to build it :)

I have played 300+ in this game, and it isn't even officially released yet. It is so cool. I spent a lot of time exploring the planets and then really poured my heart into building.

I love what you can do with building in Boundless. You have chisels that can shape the blocks your working with. It makes for an amazing experience of angeling and layering materials to make some amazing structures. I also love using lighting from gem torches to subtly color my builds, or use gleam for dramatic effect. Building with ice is my favorite, the way the colors reflect off of the shiny ice texture, or glow through when place behind ice blocks is just gorgeous.

If you are looking for the Boundless community, we are not on the Steam forums, you need to go the Boundless forums or join the Boundless Discord. I have been playing boundless for around 1770 hours plus around 400 hours on a famaly share account.
since the day I bought it a year and a half ago it has been my go to game. never be for has a game captured my attention so much.
there is just so much to it!
In short this game is a perfect mix of mmo,
survival, and builder with an exstream emphasis on building. in most voxel games you just place blocks but in boundless each placed block can be further shaped in to hundres of shapes alowing almost anything you can imagen to come to life.

I will be here forever. It's that type of game. There is no end, no win. It's is a crafter/building Fantastic Fantasy play world. There is hunting and exploring as well. The announcement of Live, Sept 11th is AWESOME. And the game is ready.

Not like many games that go live to early and fail. Boundless has literally listened to all those early backers, and we have helped develope a really awesome game and it's fetaures. How many games can you say gave that experience to their player base?

The endless and boundless creative universe they are offering, the economy and crafting , and building and rich fun playerbase is more than I've seen in any game ever. Everyone is fun and helpful. This is the way games are suppose to be.

You can come here and make friends. You can come here and feel like you accomplished something. There will never be a youtube viral vid of some kid screaming and smashing his keyboard , because of playing Boundless. The discords are live and always full.

I've got about 80 hours into this game, and I'm really liking it. I've posted a guide on the exchange and I'll make another guide or two if people need me to. I'm just starting to get into twitch streaming, so keep an eye out for me streaming on occasion. Once the game launches, I will definitely stream and host some hunts at random that anyone will be free to join!
