Glass, how do you make it?

I have 45 sand. 25 ordinary coal.
I still says:
Glass - Add valid ingredients!

What am I missing here? I know it's probably going to be something real obvious, but alittle help?

This is just a guess, but you might need something like 50 sand or a certain specific number to create it..? Maybe, don't take my word for it. Worth a shot, though.

It's 2 sand and two compacted silt.

I hope you won't give away all the recipes away ingame, I kind of like metaphorically smashing things together and seeing what happens. Only reason I asked about sand was I remember minecraft logic and I put basically everything into the furnace. Then I gave up and made this thread.

But even if you do, it's still a good game!
