I have a problem with the mole and can't get any further. Does anyone have an idea how I can get to the box so I can continue playing?

You'll have to avoid being seen by it, stay out of the line of sight with its red eyes, hide behind the stone pillars and wait until they move on / turn their backs to you.

If you're spotted, sprint into the next tunnel, they will stop following you at some point.
At the point where you can go either left or right, personally, I found it easier to go left.

Just run past them. It's not at all difficult unless you get an unlucky mole placement and one is right where you need to go.

I just waited until it was near the pillar, then ran ran ran. That strategy does seem to be the winning one.
