The Mole

Does anybody actually know how to get PAST the mole? it seems that it's range of view is literally anywhere exposed, I'd try running, IF it couldn't see behind itself, dynamite doesn't work (obviously), Lamps flicker and turn off, and you can't drill it to death (I think), so I'm stumped, if anybody knows please tell me!

You just gotta book it, try and run past it while its back is turned but even if it turns around and starts chasing you you just gotta run. It doesn't chase after you forever

Remember you can sprint with shift.

I ended up running into another one.
Not exactly sure what the victory condition is here. Is there a treasure or something I'm missing? Or is it literally just "How long can you run in circles before it eats you"?

Just literally keep going through the cave. There's only one way to go and it takes less than a minute to get through it if you just run through

Same for me got all the way top the end and get an empty chest then get eaten. Not sure if we are missing something here or there are hidden endings?

I was disappointed at first by the ending but all in all by that point you've already dug holes for a while, gotten all the upgrades or most of em, what more is there to do? It's just a fun, goofy plot twist ending.

If you play again it's sort of like new game+ but where the only additional thing is that you have a shelf with trophies to unlock :D If you enjoyed the game enough to play it again I recommend going for them.

You can hide behind the stone pillars and wait until the mole moves on and turns its back to you. Make sure to block line of sight with their red eyes. They patrol between 2-3 positions, and you can simply run past them when they don't face you.
If you run into a tunnel, they will stop chasing you at some point.

When you get to the first mole, go through the only available tunnel. Follow this tunnel until it splits, at the split take a right. When the tunnel opens into another cave with moles, run straight ahead into the next tunnel. That tunnel will lead you to the treasure.
