Xbox Series X Controller stick deadzone

So I got one of the newest xbox controllers currently out for my pc, but the drift on the sticks are so terrible that in game, I just slowly move to different directions, making it very difficult to stay in one place and dig... As the in game settings do not have any deadzone options, anyone know a way to adjust my controller deadzone?

I tried the steam settings and it's at 10000, but that's not being affected in game.

When you click on the game in steam on the right side of the page you can see a gear, controller, info, and heart icon. The controller is where you can edit your deadzones.
1. Click on the controller icon
2. Enable Steam input
3. Click "Edit layout"
4. Click "Joysicks"
5. Click "Joysick behavior" on which side you need it, and there you'll be able to fix the deadzone.
