Stonemason achievement broken?

Just wondering if this Steam achievement is glitched? I just filled and emptied my max upgraded backpack with stones three times in a row, which was 120 stones, plus however many I got organically when I started playing, but the achievement didn't pop. Did I miss something or is this a bug?

Have you finished the game once? Because achievements are only activated after that. However, whatever you have reached in your first playthrough will be counted towards the achievements later.

Ah no, I have not. I didn't know I needed to to be eligible for achievements. Thanks for letting me know. =)
