explosives that stick to rocks. Or which can be blown up with a button
But i need deeper and wider holes to dig
I had to stop playing already because clicking so much makes my hand hurt...
Game has a great loop. For the price I was definitely satisfied and can't wait to let my daughter try it.
It may sound odd but I wish it took longer to get the max upgrades. Double drills as an option for even faster digging?
Maybe a grapple/hookshot to start off with which eventually leads to a jetpack. It's possible I just didn't notice but the jetpack final upgrade didn't seem necessary so working towards a jetpack would be much more satisfying.
Ability to pay to recharge teleporter would be nice. I didn't realize it was a 1 use item. Maybe add infinite teleporting with a dumb amount of money just to give one last goal. Or make the final version run on plutonium or something so it could also be used in the area where your tools stop working (which could play into a new ending....).
Overall I just really enjoyed this game and want more. I can't wait to see what happens with your next project or this one if you expand it. It's got tons of buzz atm so adding some more content and releasing on console could potentially set you for life.
Movement speed is fine for me. I've never accidentally fallen to my death after 9 hours of gameplay.
The dynamite issue also seems like a personal preference and not a QoL thing. QoL would be to just add control scheme setup.
The ending fits the game perfectly. Why else would someone sell a house for less than a car costs that has buried treasure in the backyard?
This would defeat the purpose of the drill upgrade. Drills are automatic, shovels are manual.
I don't think a tool to give you compliments fits the game very much! But seriously, there is no reason to smooth out the ground in this game. The points to go down, not decorate. Also, the word Battery makes more sense. Your jetpack is Battery operated. You can upgrade your Battery.
A grapple/hookshot would not be simple to implement in a way that would make it useful from an engine perspective. Also, none of the Jetpack upgrades are necessary after the first, they are primarily QoL, as after the first it technically makes you go faster. Battery is more important for distance.
Outside my statements above, I agree with most the suggestions posted so far. A "sticky bomb", deeper/wider area for digging, the ability to purchase teleports after unlocking the chest, the option to use the shovel instead of the drill, and more upgrades all seem like entertaining and fairly simple ideas.
1. He got one of the large rocks that's needs dynamite stuck half way out of the wall and can't blow it up because there's no more dirt. He suggests a rocket launcher (sticky bombs might also be good) for more precise explosions
2. There's a part of the yard underneath a fence, kind of a small wedge between the main yard. We cleared it out because the two of us felt the need to remove every piece of dirt, but nothing spawns in there so it was sort of a waste of time. We think it should have some ore in there
Also not a suggestion but just a question, why is the silver ore transparent and blue? It's absolutely beautiful but not at all what silver looks like
EDIT: And Platinum.
