The *last* drill (spoilers i guess)

Got my gold drill. However, the long fall achievement didn't pop in steam and I still need keys. If I start a new game, do I somehow lose my gold drill? Will I have to upgrade to gold drill? I don't see why I would make a new game but I'm just curious.

Gold drill stays when you do your achievement runs.

You will still have to upgrade to the Gold Drill again. All of your digging tools will be Gold now, but you still have to work through the upgrades.

And if it helps, make sure you're hovering over the hole at the highest point of hovering when achieving the 4 Second Fall. Just jumping into the hole from the edge won't be enough.

Thank you for both answers! So even though I did get the achievement in game, it's that finicky for the steam achievement? I'll absolutely try it! I made the mistake of clearing 100% of the dirt on my first playthrough (unaware the achievements were a newgame+) so I'm dragging my feet getting this to work XD

If you 100% know for sure that you achieved it in game (like it's on the shelf in the garage in New Game+) but not on Steam, that sounds like a genuine bug! I hope that gets fixed! But I did the same thing. I spent three hours just clearing dirt for fun on my first playthrough before even being aware that achievements would unlock on completion and starting New Game +.

Oh okay yikes. Yeah 100% sure. All achievement trophies are on the shelf. I don't even think you can get the gold drill without getting them all. (I could be wrong but I didn't get the gold drill till my last shelf achievement was done). I'll report the bug just in case!

That makes sense, yeah, you're right. I didn't get the Gold Drill until I had finished the shelf, which definitely means you should've gotten the 4 Second Fall to pop in Steam. That's such a pain in the ass, especially when it's tedious work in the first place. Really hope that gets sorted out.

Yeah, no biggy. I'm one of those weirdos that loves to grind in games so it's not too bad for me. I can see it being annoying for others though. Thanks so much for the help! Now I just have to find out how to report a bug...
