A Game About Digging A Hole

Love the genre (what I personally have taken to calling "Depth Miner" games), wish there was more to do so it had more replay value.
One thing I absolutely LOVED about the old Motherload (Goldium Edition) flash game from the 2000s was the final tier upgrades to your mining vehicle that you couldn't just buy outright.

You had to dig way down and find them at a certain range of Y level depths.
That, combined with the different consumables you could spend your money on like explosives, health, fuel, etc. really gave it a huge boost to replayability.

The wide array of loots also helped.
AGADAH here is extremely bare-bones in that regard.
There's far less depth, far less room to mine in the space available to you, the ores are pretty much all the same (except the rainbow ore, not sure what that's even in the game for), and there isn't really a sense of higher risk/reward as you go deeper which was the biggest allure in Motherload.

If any of the devs read this:
PLEASE
Play Motherload Goldium Edition, and take inspiration from it.
