So I emptied my back yard...

It took a hot minute, but I cleared out every pixel I could. (There are a couple random one-pixel wide bits of dirt that I'm able to stand on, but can't find to clear out.) Ended up banking over $100k, so buying this house for $10k was a bargain!

I was surprised at how many layers there were with zero ores. I almost ran out of the fully upgraded battery a couple times without finding a single ore.

Most interesting to me was under the little garden area. The planks extend down, but the dirt goes up behind them. (Also no stone or coal in that entire area.)

Yep. I took 9 hours to clear everything except the lava rocks and big stairway rocks. I cleaned and polished everything on the way down Not certain it was a stairway, but it certainly looked like one to me,,,a big circular stairway. I took a pic from the top down, and was going to take a pic from the bottom up after finishing up with the critters....little did i know the teleporter wasn't going to have the opportunity to take me back to the surface which ended with another death and the game ending.

Only reason I did this is because there is to little content for the pricing of this game. Took a bit longer than 4.5 hours to clear everything.

This is the problem I'm having. The concept is firmly in my wheelhouse, but I was hoping for a more "dig forever, go crazy, see what you can do" kind of game as opposed to the "dig a hole for an hour and then never play the game again" thing we got.

Agreed. I know the game was only $5, but was expecting at little more. Was shocked how little there was to actually find in that hole.
