Honestly don't know why this is not a standard yet for every game to have.
I don't expect the quality that Kingdom Come Deliverance II brought. One of the first games to fully utilize 32:9 with inventory screens etc.
Found it here C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\A Game About Digging A Hole\DiggingGame\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini
Change all instances of SizeX to 2560 and SizeY to 1440 and it loaded as a full 16:9 window centered on my 7680x2160 monitor.
Add a new line and enter this.
FieldofView=100
Save the file and open the game. Enjoy
Thank you, you are my hero! That worked. Even better than playing on in 4K windowed mode.
Did nothing for me sadly, but i also only play on 1980x1080.
same here. changes nothing for me, sadly
Start the game.
Now comes the weird part, when you start a new game with that config edit, it doesn't work at first. Save your new game, close the game and start it again load the save, for some reason the config now works.
For savegames it always works, for new game never.
"FullscreenMode=0"
Worked like a charm for me and got me to my native resolution.
