FOV Setting? Playing in 7680x2160
Ultra widescreen needs a FOV slider please. It's way too much zoomed in. The detector is barely visible.

Right now, only ALT+ENTER to play in window mode makes it playable.

Agree, game is sadly unplayable for me without fov slider, especially since you are constantly surrounded by walls and such.
Honestly don't know why this is not a standard yet for every game to have.

Yep, I hope the Dev can patch this.

I don't expect the quality that Kingdom Come Deliverance II brought. One of the first games to fully utilize 32:9 with inventory screens etc.
You can go into the game files and change the resolution, i just did this and it helped, smaller screen though but its looking good now

Where can one find resolution settings?

Found it here C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\A Game About Digging A Hole\DiggingGame\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini

Change all instances of SizeX to 2560 and SizeY to 1440 and it loaded as a full 16:9 window centered on my 7680x2160 monitor.

Go to C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\A Game About Digging A Hole\DiggingGame\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini

Add a new line and enter this.
FieldofView=100

Save the file and open the game. Enjoy

Thank you, you are my hero! That worked. Even better than playing on in 4K windowed mode.

Ok, the thing with the config is a bit weird. Close the game, edit the config file, save it.
Start the game.

Now comes the weird part, when you start a new game with that config edit, it doesn't work at first. Save your new game, close the game and start it again load the save, for some reason the config now works.
For savegames it always works, for new game never.

For those getting the resolution stuck yet its still 720p, try changing full screen mode in the same file above to the below (even if you have it in windowed or whatever the case):

"FullscreenMode=0"

Worked like a charm for me and got me to my native resolution.
full screen is trash for ultrawide tje only thing you can use is windowed or borderless windowed. modes.. olus full screen is old as for the days of dual cores you do not need it plus you might get better performance in borderless windowed mode
