Enhanced graphics setting, FSAA and lowered res
I have found that the settings in lego star wars the complete saga have been locking me out of my desired set-up due to the auto-optimising 'feature'. When enhanced graphics is on, some levels are shown in a lower resolution than my screen as it would on an xbox for example, turning some settings off fixes this for some but not others. This problem is still present but not so much when the enhanced graphics setting is off, but by turning on FSAA, this seems to force every scene to render in full 1920x1080. Thing is I can't turn on FSAA with enhanced graphics so I am quite stuck. I have tried editing the config file but no luck.
I have a GTX 580 3gb and I should be able to run this maxed out, FSAA x8 does nothing to slow the game down. I'm running on windows 7 64bit with an intel i5 760
*Note* I have heard of people saying that they can run enhanced graphics and FSAA at the same time. Also I would like to know what difference enhanced graphics makes apart from nicer shadows

Try forcing AA and AF through the driver, and set it to ignore ingame settings.

I have and it ether does not work, or when the video is shown at a lower resolution you can't tell the difference.

I could look into forcing super sampling AA as that is similar to FSAA and may force it to show it in the proper res again

Does this game work on windows 7?

Yes, I am playing it right now on windows 7 64 bit and this is the only problem I have come across, as far as I know this problem applies to any operating system

I just force the setting through my GPU too. Although I am having some odd issues with the enhanced particles or whatever the feature it called. They keep drawing themselves over everything, so sometimes things get hidden. Anyone else have that problem?

Yeah I get that too. It's still worth it because the game looks nicer.

I ended up forcing it using the NvidiaInspector
