Can't Change Controls Glitch
For the first chapter of episode 3, the up and down controls are backwards. I switched them, just like I did half a decade ago when I played the first Lego Star Wars.
Now, the up and down keys don't work on the menu where you remap keys so I can't switch them back. I couldn't find a .ini file where I presume the file in which the controls are stored (to be fair, I am far from an expert). Can anyone help?

There should be a file called Mappings.dat.

Well that was saved in a place I somehow missed, thanks!

Hum sorry but what do we must to do with this file? I have the same problem and just giving the name ant the place of a file is not really helping for someone who is not use to informatics stuff...

After fixing my problem that way, i found out that you can go up and down on the menus with the scroll wheel for...reasons....no idea why that control was implemented, but I'm not complaining!

after 3 days of searching i find a post on a other forum on the net which reveal that yes...but i've learned that it's useless to find a support team, steam don't take in charge those problem 'cause it's note their game ( which make sense to me) but there are no official site for this game and so no team support....which is awesome when you have buggs and many players encounter some bugs as me, for exemple i can't defeat the rancoors 'cause i can't make the door falling down on him while he has only one heart left, at the good place with a guy to eat, 'cause the controller are in position to work but haven't the light to say that their active or...they should be active. There's no way to fix it.

I'm assuming you tried a re-install and checked a video or something to make sure you're using the correct lever?

i've re installed it, check the file twice, and the game support xbox pad ( that i don't have) and keyboard. but It's true that I've re install the game before to discover this bug, for trying to resolve the bug that you met before so maybe i should retry? And i've watch video, even if i've already finish this game on the old xbox in case that they were something change but no, the player can shut down the door when the rancoor is in place with one heart left by using the controllers are with blue light. I have those controller, in good position, but with no light but smoke instead, like they were broken, but there's nothing that we can built or destroy that change something to the controllers states.

Ok, break into the code of the game and insert a robot wearing a wig with a rubik's cube and a purple m&m. Then instruct the robot to build a Trojan grape with a reload button on a picture long board made from the frozen tears of a pink crocodile painted on its stomach. Use this horse to lure out the rancor then have the robot scream loudly at the lever until the Aflak duck kicks him in the nads with a broken CD tray. Finally, take the lego bricks out of the game and swallow them. When they come out, use them and a Colt .45 for target practice. That should solve nothing at all but will be fun as all hell.

Ok, it seems like no one actually answered the original question. WHAT do you do with the Mappings.dat file? You give the location, but no further instructions. HOW do I open it? What do I change within it?

Hum personnally for me the original question was " Can anyone help?" about the controls problem, I am no expert with pc and files but if you read correctly the forum you'll learn that you don't need the files, the weels of the mouse bypass the glitch.

Did any of you have the issue of just NOT being able to change the controls at all? This is really bothering me, I play with a different set of controls
Zyrchin Feb 23, 2017 @ 9:43pm
Not being able to change them as in...? A little more information could potentially make my impending trolling more annoying. Or maybe solve your problem, either way.
