Resolution change leads to freezing

Finally got this game after waiting for it to be cheap enough and now I have a problem with it.

When I try to change the resolution to 1920x1080, the game freezes. In fact, if I try to change it to anything other than the default, it freezes.

Does anyone know a fix? I've tried compatibility mode (XP), but it doesn't change anything.

Go \AppData\Local\LucasArts\LEGO Star Wars - The Complete Saga and locate pcconfig

Find ScreenWidth and make sure it's 1920, then find ScreenHeight and make sure it's 1080. If it still has issues, make sure you change the WindowWidth and WindowHeight as well. Widescreen should be 3.

Odd.

I changed my resolution right after installation and have had no issues what so ever with the game. Aside from some small stuttering during the "cut scenes".
