PS4 controller - Circle button keeps enabling second player
So I'm using my PS4 controller to play this game using the DS4 Xinput Control. I don't have a device set for the second player, however, when I press circle on the controller to swap between characters, the game enters multiplayer mode.

I can't seem to find any solution to this online. Anyone know of a fix?

I'm running into the same problem. The 2nd controller shows up as "wireless controller"

Hey, I just got the game and for the past hour, I've been trying to get my controller to work. I can't get it to even recognize the controller in the game. It was working in Big Picture mode.

Similar problem, though using DS4Windows (have tried Xinput too), and any button initiates co-op and get a 'wireless listing.' :/

I don't have the game installed, but in the DS4 driver window, there's a "hide DS4 controller" option. Try checking that.

I got it to work using DS4 tool. It wasn't working because I kept closing it xD

No problem. I was having an issue with Dark Souls not properly recognizing my DS4, and I stumbled upon a thread on some forum suggesting the "hide DS4" option. I figured it would probably work here too.

Stop the ds4 program, unplug the controller, plug it back it, then turn on the program again and check the "hide ds4 controller" option. Make sure the game isn't running when you do any of the steps.

hey, so i've had pretty much the exact problem as most people on this thread except, mine just will not work at all. I used to have the option to choose between "wireless controller" and another called "Xbox360 controller for windows" But whenever i tried the "hide DS4 Controller" i would lose the xbox360 option forever. Which means i can not use my ps4 controller at all. I did have the option to use the wireless controller device but whenever i'd select it in game i could not assign any of the controls. I am now using my ps4 controller via DS4windows, whereas i was previously using the DS4 xinput program, but now i am getting the exact problem as before. I don't have any other controller or other device driver on this PC that could be interrupting. Any help at all is much appretiated,
Thanks

[EDIT] I also have been playing LEGO Lord Of The Rings, and it works perfectly fine. But now that i selected "hide DS4" it doesnt work for any game. Even when i unselect

I'm trying to play Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga, and everytime I enter the HUB world, it's fine. But as soon as I press any buttons, "wireless controller" connects and halts gameplay.

If anyone has any fixes, they'd be appreciated!

I've not been able to use a ds4 at all on lego star wars, Hide ds4 doesn't do anything for me either, the game will pick up the touchpad as a mouse but none of the buttons work (I'm using DS4Windows)

Go into settings and check the box that says "Hide DS4 Controller". I believe that should fix it.

For those who the "hide ds4" isn't working, if you read the log it probably says you need to close applications like Steam or UPlay before selecting this option, probably because they requested the device from the OS, and it doesn't have permission to take that away from them.

Anyway, as of right now, this works for me.

Oh, and I'm currently running Windows 10, in case for some reason this doesn't work on 7 or 8/8.1
