I agree this game should be placed on sale if you are going to do a lego sale. I have been waiting for a long time to buy these on here.

Whats the point in having a lego sale when all the lego games are not in it lol

I would totally buy this in a heartbeat if it was on sale, or had Steam achievements. I love it, but for 21 bucks? It's completely ridiculous that the much larger and newer LEGO Marvel game is cheaper than this.

So...Full Disney sale, including Lego Pirates of the Carribean...and no Star Wars. This was my last hope for the sale. Game Over.
Diet Dr. Beta 4 DIC 2014 a las 15:58
No sale in Lego sale. No sale in Disney sale, which own the Star Wars Franchise. The only hope left is a Star Wars sale. Sigh.

It doesn't turn up in Star Wars sales either.

Remember. This game isn't being distributed by disney at all.

MEANING, once the developers' distribution time goes away. This game will no longer be on sale. It will depend on disney whether or not they want to either, take ownership or have them reput the game on here.

If disney takes ownership we will see the game here for a rather long long time and eventually a sale. If disney doesn't?

No more chances of getting this game.

I don't think this is correct. The game was published by LucasArts that is now wholly owned by Disney. The owner of the publishing rights (now Disney) negotiates sales agreements with distributors (Valve). I suspect this game had an agreement under LucasArts that Disney and Valve have not amended. Those agreements often dictate how many times a game can go on sale (and for what amount of discount). Maybe all the discounted sales times have been used up. If this is the case, we may not see anything until the original agreement expires and they are forced to renew it or drop the game altogether. I bet when the new Star Wars movies start coming out, Disney will focus on all their outstanding Star Wars properties to maximize revenue for that IP.

^ Disney isn't going to bother with their older star wars games. They'll push for the new stuff that will be reelease. Remember a lot of the games are no longer canon. They are trying to focus heavily on the movies now. If disney did care enough about their older titles they would be rereleasing them. But there really isn't any point.

Yeah, I know "But the game is already done why not re-release it?"
Because they don't want older titles moving, they want recent stuff.

There is a huge possiblity that the game might be taken off steam ones the license of whom ever is holding it expires. The other possiblity would be disney takes it as it's own like it has the other games it's release recently and we'll see sales.

Since this game hasn't had a sale or any new news coming from it. I wont hold my breath.

The expanded universe games you are talking about have never been canon, since it has always been canon=movies for StarWars.
But LSW is not expanded universe it is the "Lego"-version of the movie plot.

You're forgetting that everything the Lego Star Wars games were based on is still officially canon. The Lego Star Wars games are based off of Episodes 1-6 and the Clone Wars series, all of which are officially canon in the new Disney Star Wars universe.
