Stuck on Pod Racing

It seems like it's pretty much impossible to win the Pod racing with Anakin. It's hard to hit ALL the boosters to be able to pass the guy who's in the lead. I was doing the race almost 10 times in a row and still haven't won. Does anyone have any tips and ideas as to how you can actually win the Pod race?

Also worth adding, in the base game the up direction is used to go forward. In the Bonus "original" podrace, you have to hit the accelerate key (jump, I think). So, I guess they changed the game mechanic a bit (and made it quite a bit easier!) I'm sure younger players were happy. I found the bonus episode quite challenging in comparison.

indeed the original podrace was even allot harder than the one we have now.

The Lego Star Wars version also was in three segments per lap, and you had to finish first in each segment. The TCS version is way better.

Hold button " a " down for speeding up on your controller not sure what you have to hold for speeding up on the keyboard.

I'm glad they put the easier versions of the two hardest chapters for progression and finding the minikets while keeping the original as bonus levels.

And you haven't even played the original Podrace from original Lego Star Wars: The Videogame! It was much harder... yet i still easily finished it!

same here and also a tip: after the first lap, attempt to remmeber where all the boosts are!

I used to get stuck on it on the PS2 when I was younger, but I completed it on my first go on the PC edition :D

anyone who has played through the original on gamecube or ps2 has already mastered the pod racing in the complete saga automatically.

its quite easy just dont crash into anything and keep passing those boosters it took me 2 tries to pass it on my pc and mastered it on the first try in mobile
