Can't get past Retake Theed Palace

I've played Retake Theed Palace a few times, but I always get stuck in the same spot - pictured in the above link. Mini Vader, the Jedi, and R2 all stand on the buttons like they're supposed to, but Princess and Other Dude never come up to the balcony.

I've watched a few Let's Plays on YouTube but haven't seen one with this problem. I do everything the Let's Plays are doing, and in the videos Princess and Other Dude somehow make it to their buttons, while in my game they never do.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

You need to check the ground level area beneath that balcony. Destroy nearby plants and objects for pieces to make the grapple hook point for them to use to get up to the balcony.

I can't get the jedi up myself. Every time I have one of the jedi get on the crate and try to switch to the other one to lift them up, either I'm not fast enough, or they jump off right after I lift him off the ground. Then how do you get the other one up after that?

when you do it just make sure you get the top piece down then use one jedi to aim at a crate the other will get on the other crate and when you get to the verry top then jump if you don't get the crates to the top it will bug out and not make it
