If you're saying it's a joke that there aren't achievements, I couldn't agree more. This game is one of my favorites, and it was a gold mine for achievement junkies on Xbox. I really hope they add achievements.

This is just a straight port of the CD-ROM version of the game, there weren't achievements then and there probably never will be. Especially considering this would be up to Traveller's Tales who's already wrapped up in Skywalker Saga's development

CD-ROM games back then didn't exactly come with achievements lol, Lego Star Wars came out when console achievements were a fairly new concept

The Xbox version of TCS has achievements. There's no reason not to have them in the Steam version.

1. It's the CD version of the game
2. PC achievements werent really common then
3. A new Lego Star Wars is coming out so there's no point

It wouldn't be hard to add them in. Knowing that the PC version has less features is very frustrating. Some older games still receive updates, but unfortunately this one probably won't. That said, things will never change if you don't point these things out.

Older games that receive updates are usually handed off to indie devs or if it was a smaller studio, kinda like with RWS updating Postal 2. Traveller's Tales is a big dev that's basically stuck pumping out Lego games at this point, they probably don't have time to go back and add achievements to their older Lego titles. And again, they're hard at work making what's basically a new and improved version of this game, so adding achievements into THIS version seems kinda pointless
