disable playable Battle Droid
Is there any way to keep the game from including Battle Droid in the Freeplay lineup? I made the mistake of buying it, and it seems to have its own dedicated slot in the Freeplay lineup, even though it has no special abilities and is definitively the worst gun-armed character.

The game tends to give you Battle Droids (in addition to joke characters) to play as when you play one of the three first episodes while Extra Toggle is enabled. Make sure it's disabled, or beat at least 3 episodes in Story mode and buy characters.

Also, Freeplay is a little pointless if you can't get some minikits nor power bricks because you haven't unlocked at least one character from each class (Jedi, Sith, Troopers, bounty hunters, protocol droids, astromech droids, blaster users, short characters...). In that mode, the game picks the most useful characters you currently have, and tries to avoid duplicates

Extra Toggle is disabled, and this is after unlocking one of every class.

Edit: Oh nvm, it's stopped doing it now. Maybe it did get rid of the battle droid right after I unlocked all real classes and I didn't notice.

Pretty sure battle droids only appear because in the original star wars game (Episode I to III) you could blend in and other battle droids wouldn't shoot you, and due to laziness they copy-pasted whatever algorithm determines what characters get picked (e.g. minimum one character with a special characteristics such as sith or high jumper), from that game into the complete Saga.
