Windowed Mode doesn't work

I like to play games in Windowed mode to be able to manipulate documents and Youtube, but this game will not use windowless at all.

I have tried:
1 - Messing with the config file
2 - Creating a shortcut on my desktop and adding "-windowed" to the Target box
3 - Installing dxwnd (AND YOUR TWO MINUTE VIDEO WAS REALLY NOT HELPFUL, "Winning". WHY CAN'T I FIND A BETTER VIDEO? /rantover)
4 - Looking for a mod to do it for me. (I can dream, right? Someone answered my prayers of a controller mod for "Real SW Battlefront 2", so this should be possible... right?)
EDIT:
5 - D3DWindower opened the game normally.
6 - 3D Analyse refused to open the game at all. Not surprised, but worth a mention.

Nothing is impossible, but I just can't find anything to help.

Appears that DXWnd works.
1: Edit
2: add
3: find path
4: set settings like run in window and or fullscreen only (for windowed borderless) and resolution (the w and H)
5: click ok
6: File>Save

If i recall it can hook into the game even if you launch via steam as long as dxwnd is setup for the game and is running. (i tested it; note you must use alt-tab to escape window focus still)

The app actually goes back to 2004 originally and works in a lot of games like Battlefront 2 2005 and Galactic Battlegrounds, republic commando.... mount and blade, halo ce, etc.
