The game's always forgets my extras

Every time I start playing I have to turn my extras on because the game always turns them off. Does anyone else has this problem? And is there any way to fix it?

back in the day that's How Lego games were, you had to manually toggle the extras- they didn't remember chars either, i.e. you got Qui Gonn and Obi in LEGO SWTCS

Yep, alot of the older lego games dont save your extras state, i believe batman 1 and lego indiana jones 1 does this too
