Change player 1 controls

is there a way to change the controls for player one for the ones for player 2?

Just go to the controller options and remap the key choices :)

I tried to but I couldn't. it said press any key to change the control and i tried but nothing happened.

On the opening screen with New Game/Load Game etc. Go into Control Configuration, scroll to the command you want to change, press Enter, choose the new key and press, the new key binding will be shown in the L/H column. Repeat for all the keys you want to change, scroll down to the Accept at the bottom and press Enter.
