Yes, I agree it's annoying. If you change your Video/Effects to their lowest/off settings you should find it easier. You do have to destroy all the surrounding 'distracting' targets for the torpedoes to actually go where you want them to, and then you have to 'float' against the building using momentum to get the position right where the target locks.

Hope this helps :)

welp, this is still a thing and it truly baffles me when people say "this game aged well"
the amount of clunk in this game is actually just on another level

I know this response is really late but hopefully it will help others with the same question. If you go around and shoot literally everything round the building first it helps a lot. When I did it, it seemed other shootable objects around the building where stealing the target most of the time, even if they were out of view.

just lower your resolution to the lowest and it will actually track now

Believe me, i did everything. I dont much care about it now but its still suprising that this issue is present still.

Just in case this helps anyone. I was struggling with this just the same as you. And I decided to break everything in that area so that absolutely nothing could be taking priority over the last blue thing. When I was destroying everything near the first tie fighter only area I started shooting torpedoes, just to hit things that I didn't see and speed up the process, I shot a torpedo and it went in front of me, blew something up and I got the minikit. I dont know how. The blue thing was behind me so I could see if the torpedo went that way, it didnt. And I went back to that spot and the blue thing was still there. So maybe if you cant get that last blue thing there is still hope and you just have to shoot torpedoes around idk
