Game not launching / black screen - potential fix
I had the issue that the game would launch in a black screen or minimize instantly, but not get to the main menu.

Going to AppData/Local/LucasArts/LEGO Star Wars - The Complete Saga
and changing the monitor resolution in "pcconfig.txt" helped me.

I had to set "WindowWidth", "WindowHeight", "ScreenWidth" and "ScreenHeight" to the values of my monitor, so width to 1920 and heigth to 1080.

My pcconfig.txt file already was at 1920/1080 matching my monitor and still got a black screen like 95% of the time, so if your pcconfig.txt file is already matching your monitor try doing what i did without realizing it, let it sit on the black screen for like 5 minutes or so, game booted up normally. It's like the startup fails and stops responding, but then it fixes itself over that time span and the game goes back to being fine. It's annoying to have to wait to start your game, but try it, if it works at least you can play the game, because ive yet to find a true fix other than this.
If you are using controller, unplug your keyboard and mouse.
I was able to fix it by turning off the Nvidia overlay option in the Nvidia Experience app
