The game doesnt download
I am on Linux and the game "downloads" but doesnt actually download anything. I uninstalled the game, verified game cache, and reset the game cache and it still will not download.

Ensure that Steam Play is enabled on your Linux Steam Client. In the top-left of the client, select
Steam > Settings > Steam Play and check the "Enable Steam Play" boxes. You may need to enable it for unsupported games too (found in the same menu).

I tried that but it isn’t about playing, it’s about the download.

The same happened to me, but when I switched from Steam Play to Proton and restarted Steam it started to download. Now I can play it just fine. Make sure to set "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%" for correct sound.
