That folder is not stored in the game directory. On Windows, it will be stored in C:\Users\[YOURNAME]\AppData\...

The game stores save files outside of the game directory so that if you uninstall the game then reinstall it, your progress will be saved. (Of course, Steam does this anyway, but this game was originally released as physical media, so they didn't have Steam's cloud saves.)

On some versions of Windows, AppData is a hidden folder by default. You may have to change your Windows Explorer settings to show hidden folders.

Open the File Explorer (the window for looking inside folders) and, starting from the C drive (or whatever drive is labeled as "Windows"), go into the "Users" folder, then the folder with your username, then you should see the AppData folder. If you still don't know what I'm talking about let me know and I'll try and find a video of it.

Here are two videos I found on youtube demonstrating ways to get to the AppData folder in Windows 8 and 10.
