Yes. I reinstalled the game today after uninstalling it a few weeks back due to various issues I was having (caused by playing with an available Beta) and my save data was restored.

Did you reinstall to the same computer? I have installed this game on multiple computers with the same steam account, and save data was not transferred through cloud storage. It is stored per-computer in a different directory to the actual game, which is why the save data would remain after uninstalling.
