Xbox 360 controller WAS working, now suddenly not recognized by game

I was playing the game with my wired Xbox 360 controller all weekend without any trouble. Today I launched the game, realized my controller wasn't plugged in, and plugged it in. The game wouldn't recognize any input. So I shut down the game and restarted it. The game still won't recognize input (where it says "push a button to select input device", nothing happens no matter what I do with the controller). I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in countless times, restarting the game over and over again, restarting Steam... Nothing helps. The controller is still working fine for all other games, but suddenly LSW won't recognize it at all. I'm NOT about to play this game on the keyboard.

I've been scouring the internet for help and it seems many people have had controller issues with this game, but I haven't found anyone else whose controller WAS working and then STOPPED working. So if anyone has any advice, it would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can't offer any help, other than saying the same thing happened to me today. The controller still works with Clone Wars no problem, but nothing happens when I try to connect with Saga

I finally got it working by disconnecting the controller, shutting down the computer and restarting, then plugging in the controller again, then starting Steam again, then launching the game. Fortunately it worked after I did that. Nothing else helped (not even uninstalling and reinstalling the game from scratch).

I actually have a similar issue; I have a Steam Contoller and a X-Box 360 Controller. I was playing Co-Op and then all of thew sudden both controllers stopped working...
