Bus Simulator 16
Can Bus Simulator 16 be (mostly) played using a mouse?
Hi,

I'm physically disabled, and while I can use a mouse perfectly, I have very limited use of a keyboard. So, I'm wondering, does Bus Simulator 16 require heavy use of the keyboard? From looking at the preview videos here on Steam, it looks like at least some of the user interface (tickets, routes, etc.) is operated using the mouse. But my guess is that, unfortunately, driving the bus itself must be done using a keyboard or joystick, both of which I'm unable to use. Is this correct?

If Bus Simulator 16 is mostly keyboard-control, then can you think of similar simulator-type games that may be controlled solely or mostly by the mouse?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Andrew

HI Classic35mm, unfortunally not at the moment. It is planned to add mouse steering in the future, but at the moment you need the Keyboard, except if you use a gamepad.

I'm disabled too and I've found that a steeringwheel helps a lot. I use a Driving Force GT, which has a lot of buttons on the wheel itself. Smartly assigning functions to the wheel makes it possible for me to enjoy simulators like Bus Simulator 16, Eurotruck Simulator and American Truck Simulator.
A steeringwheel with these kind of 'normal driving' games is also a very good option to play in a relaxed way.

I'm also disabled, i got very limited use with the mouse and keyboard. I got only one working finger and i use it for that precious left click! I use an arcade stick for my left hand (Hori Real Arcade Pro V3 SA "Kai"). Using a program like JoyToKey, i can assign any keyboard key to any button even the directionnal stick on the arcade stick. I usualy use the stick for the WASD keys and still got 9 buttons for the most important fonctions. With this setup, i can play some fps and driving games. I hope this was useful to you :steamhappy:
