Should I buy the Gold Editon?

I have bought the basic game for many months,and now i want to buy all dlcs.If I buy the Gold Editon,will I get a new basic game?

If you want to upgrade to the Gold Edition you just need to buy the DLCs. If you buy the Gold Edition you will basically buy the base game again + all DLCs.

If you already own the base game it is already assigned to your Steam account. So buying it again won't make sense at all. To get the same content like the Gold Edition simply buy the missing DLCs.

It's impossible to have a game twice in your library and since the "Gold Edition" is a complete package you will either get an error message from Steam or the "second main game" will just go to waste.
If you want to have a second game to gift it you should buy it separately.
