How to effectively force throw?

How can I force throw an object to the destination that I'm aiming at? Sometimes, well most of the time when I'm pointing at an object or a character to throw at the object flies to a different random target.

Okay, this is a hard one and one of the reasons why this game is overly complicated. I found that if you attempt to force throw forward, you throw sort of at a 45 degree angle over the enemy's head for some reason. I have no idea why. But if you aim diagonally at the enemy, you can hit them every time.

So, face 45-90 degrees away from the enemy, targetting the thing to throw.

Aim to the right or left, in my case with A or D on the keyboard.

Release while holding one of those buttons. Voila, a hit.

That being said, if you're trying to kill one of those force controlled trash titans, just get up in it's face and lightsaber it to death. It's way more difficult trying to hit it from afar with a piece of trash. I was SO ready to be done with that level.
