Cd key

i bought a cd key for this game back in 2012 i has cleaning up my room and i dk if it was a miracle or not i found it laying arround i tried to activate it on steam but it says its invalid where does this key activates?

Go to your library. Click add game on the bottom left corner. Click activate steam game. Put in the code and make sure all the characters are correct. If that does not work then look at the piece of paper that has the activation code to see if requires something like games for windows live.

i bought the key in 2012 from a key website doesnt work on steam or any other program and the retail version doesnt come with a cd key so yeah im out of ideas

The website you bought from could have sold you a fake key. Maybe contact them with proof of purchase to see if they could give you a new one. Other than that there is not much you can do. What website was it?

It seems people can sell their own keys and someone may have sold you a fake. All you can do is contact onlinekeystore and see what they will do.

K e y store .com just revoked a lot of keys because those keys bought with stolen credit cards from other services and resold on k e y store.com.

there could always be the fact that the key was expired. some keys have expiration dates.

i bought this in 2012 if i remember correctly but as soon as i got it it said it was invalid so yeah well its ok im past that now but never again will i buy from those guys
