The fights against the Jedi
I have fought against 4 Jedi (3 with Starkiller) and I still don't have a clue how I'm supposed to fight against them. The fights seem almost completely random. I'm accustomed to action games where the combat is, in the loss of a better word, skill based such as the Souls series. In those games in theory if the player does everything right they don't even take damage. The game mechanic has a certian flow in the combat with attacks and counter measures. In these fight against the Jedi the best method seems to be just hit X and hope that they don't block all of the attacks in the combo. Is there an actual combat mechanism I'm missing or is this really it?

Here's the problems I'm having:

a) There is no parry or dodge witch would give an egde against the opponent so when they attack the best thing I can do is not be in their reach. I know that this might not sound such a big problem but attacking kind of should make you vulnerable to counter attacks if the opponent for example dodges the attack.

b) When I attack my opponent they can block all of my attacks but they have special attacks I can't block.

c) When I make a combo the opponent can block the first few attacks and then counter attack before my next hit. If I try to do the same it seems impossible. There is a clear "cooldown" between stopping blocking and attacking.

d) There doesn't seem to be a way to block their force abilities (I can only dodge them) but they can block any of my force abilites (their success rate isn't 100 %, though it is very high, but they can block any type of an force attack).

e) Trying to use any of the "bought" better combo moves seems useless. The Jedi pretty much always breaks the combo with a counter attack in between you attacks (something I can't do) and even if I do get the best attack (such as the XXXB) they are immune to the special effect. So the best combo is the one you have unlocked from the start XXXX.

f) Whenever I'm knocked down it takes my about 1 sec to get up and even after that maybe about 0,5 sec to be able to do anythign. The same about 0,5 sec disable happens anytime I take damage which doesn't knock me down. What this does is that the Jedi seems to have at their disposal combos that could keep me disabled 24/7. The only reason they don't always win is that the AI is an idiot and doesn't use these cheap combos all the time but when they do, I switch from drivers seat to the passengers seat. I had a fight against the red skinned Jedi (#3 with Starkiller) and the fight started with a combo that took 1/3 of my HP and I could not block it. This would be fine and all if it went the other way around too but it doesn't. Yes the best way to defeat the Jedi is to knock them down but they seem to become immune to knockdown effect when they are getting up so you can't keep putting them down before they have a chance to "repel" you, like they can do to you.

The only reason I seem to win any of the battles against the Jedi is the super uber stoooopid AI and pure luck. This does not prevent me from finishing this game but it does make the part of the game that seems like it should be the "gem" of the game the absolutely worst part of the game.
