fps fix here. You can replace exe via overwriting. 60 fps is probably optimal supposedly decreases stability and causes grasping to move objects up without input (idk if i noticed.) Over 60 fps the physics can go wonky like plants stretching crazy far.

Fixing resolution should be self explanatory.

Link contains fix for missing level sounds. Put into LevelPacks folder in the games install folder. Overwrite when asked.

I have had no controller issues. Have a DS4 being emulated as xbox 360 using a bluetooth dongle so it works with no effort. I havent found a mod to replace game prompts but most time ingame the prompts dont show buttons rather icons for powers. Other wise it shows all controls and flashes one you need to press so if you only know sony controllers it shouldnt be confusing since relative location on controller will be same just not matching prompt picture.

For FMV/prerendered cutscene issues someone said open a wmv file with windows media player with always use so its default for file type. I did that but it didnt make sense to me so i did the same thing with bik files in the FMV folder in the games main folder. After doing both the cutscenes stopped bugging out. Idk if one or both are needed but it should do no harm. If you need a wmv file make a blank notepad file on desktop and rename its txt extension to wmv then change default app to windows media player that way. It doesnt need to be able to read a file just need to click always use after selecting windows media player.

<s id="VideoWindowed">1</s> is supposed to make it windowed but for me it results in weird window offset then if i try to do windowed borderless using borderless gaming app game freezes/crashes so I keep config set to fullscreen. I tried dxwnd to force it windowed but has weird scaling bug and offset bug. There might be a way but im not a wizard so alt tab will be slow. Simply dont use windowed mode is my advice.

You can edit and repost in guides it didnt let me maybe you gotta own on steam idk. I cant do anything for you if game throws fit most likely. is finicky badly made port. For context havent reached end on port yet.

The thing is, in my LOCALAPPDATA there is no Aspyr folder, should I reinstall the game?

\AppData\Local\Aspyr?

Try using pc gaming wiki for info it seems to say it could also be in registry though idk how or why since mine is stored in appdata.

No idea i cant remember if I encountered that issue.
