60 fps fix WITH steam ?

Hello there. I was able to unlock the framerate and that is not a problem. BUT

is there a way to play with 60 FPS and the whole steam functions? I know to have the steam overlay it would be enough to manually add the .exe (either the 61fps.exe or the game .exe since steam uses the launcher to boot the game).

But that would only be the overlay. Is there a way to unlock the framerate and still launch the game from steam (means having the gameplay hours conted in the profile and stuff like that).

Yep Steam luckily points to the launcher and not the main.exe so just do the following..

1. Make sure you've run SWTFU once and configured it in the launcher, quit. Rename the launcher to SWTFU Launcher original

2. Rename the unlocker 60fps.exe to SWTFU Launcher. (The unlocker will then look for SWTFU.exe)

3. I assume you have the cracked exe as the Steam one doesn't work with the unlocker so rename your original Steam SWTFU.exe. Put the cracked SWTFU there.

Should launch fine in Steam :)

hmhmh that was a good idea but too late because i already finished the game.

for the first one i played with the unlocker and steam overlay on the unlocker (and screenshots). After i finished the game I transferred the screenshots to the 'original' game folder (with the right game number), and for the gameplay time i just left the game open (or the launcher open) for as many hours as i effectively played the game (about 7).

i am playing the second one but there is no launcher so i guess with this one is impossible to do the trick you said.....

Yeah looks like it unfortunately. Have u got a working 60fps unlocker that works with the Steam executable? Haven't found one yet.
