But as far as how to beat it, it's impossible unless you know how to do it. Once the tie fighters start shooting at you you need to break free and deal with them. Force lightning is extremely useful for taking them down fast. AS SOON as they're dead go back to messing with the star destroyer, you're going to have to get it back into the "sweet spot" of directly facing you before you'll be able to make headway again. Once tie fighters start shooting at you again, repeat this process for as long as it takes. might be a while if you're not good at getting the star destroyer into the right position quickly.
But, I'll admit I never stopped using the force to destroy tie fighters in the middle. I just figured I would drop the ship quickly and be done with it. I'll try again. Thanks
Thanks again.
The same as all other tutorials on this matter:
#1: destroy the tie fighters(lightning strike worked best for me)
#2: align the star destroyer; the next wave of tie fighters will be upon you within ~30s but do not stop aligning the star destroyer until your health bar is red.
Repeat these steps a few times. The green hue means that the star destroyer has the correct alignment in order to bring it down; so you need to keep the green hue for about 5s and General Kota will tell you to bring it down.
Now this is where it gets tricky.
There will be 2 sequences of buttons you need to press:
#A: S(HOLD) + pull the mouse down.
#B: A(HOLD) + D(HOLD) + move the mouse upwards
#A will take like ~4x longer than #B; you just have play it a few times, you will eventually learn the pattern.
Hope this information will be useful to someone.
