Is it possible to use a PS5 controller on PC with Star Wars: The Force Unleased and it actually work?

Ok so I have been trying for hours to get a PS5 controller to work on my PC with Star Wars The Force Unleased. I have tried to use "DS4Windows_3.1.0_x64" then "x360ce_x64_3_2_10_82" and also the Steam Controller Settings and none of them seem to work with the program opened or closed. While using the non Steam programs it shows the controller working.

When you open the game it asks you if you wana use Kb/M or Xbox 360 Controller. I chose 360 controller but I get stuck in the main screen because the buttons aren't allowing me to progress into the game. I have gotten the controller to work with Steam and choosing the Kb/M BUT I am forced to press and continuously hold the PS button to do anything. If I don't pressing any button does nothing. Clearly not optimal for gameplay.

If anyone has figured it out please let us all know all the settings in order to get it to actually work.

Try DS4windows, at least work for me with a PS4 controller. The program emulates the Xbox controller on the PC and you can use a wireless ps4 controller.
that way im able to play with a PS4 controller this game

I tried using DS4Windows with a PS5 controller and it didn't work. Either way I gave in anD bought an Xbox Series Controller and I use that on my PC now.

I just used Steams built in system. No DS4 tool. Set the games setting to Xbox 360 and I was fine with my DS5

always emulate for controllers
NEVER allow WINDOWS to do so, its abhorrent with controller drivers.
even if you HAVE an xbox controller.. EMULATE IT.
