How are the controls?

I would like to know if they are bad. I am considering getting this game, especially because it is $5.99, but I want to know how they are.

Some of the reviews mention poor controls but this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Played with both standard wired controller and steam controller, both are excellent and very intuitive. I can imagine KB/M getting frustrating though.

I'm using an Xbox One controller over USB on Win 10, works just fine. There's an option in the launcher to swtich between Mouse/Kbd and "Xbox 360 Controller" which works.

Don't get it unless you have a controller just now installed and only using keyboard and mouse and the controls are really bad.

Controller, youll be okay. Keyboard, it's pretty bad for force grab. You can get by just fine for almost all abilities and controls with keyboard EXCEPT force grab. When you lift ♥♥♥♥ up, you use WASD and mouse combined to pick direction to throw it. WASD in place of controller left thumbstick is all but unusable for any kind of throw except directly forward, left, right or behind it's relative postition. Trying to throw at a diagonal will just cause you to throw randomly in a kinda sorta right direction and 3/4 times miss what your trying to hit.

For OTHER abilities it's all more or less fine, camera isn't great. Nor is lockon enemies. But this will only lead to minor frustration and more spamming lightning than trying to hit guys at a distance. But the directional throwing is a nightmare with keyboard. which sucks because it's a relied upon tactic for most miniboss fights like rancors and AT-STs, pick something up and throw it to knock it off balance. If you can actually hit it anyway.

Controller, you should be fine, especially for a bit over 5 bucks.
