Really good compression. Mine only had to download 8GB, but checking the folder in steamapps/common indicates there's 25GB in there and I know only a little over 2GB of that is the movie sequences.

Hard to know, maybe a mistake. All I know is that it's 13GB on Steam and Xbox 360. Keep in mind that TFU is a terrible PC port and made to work on consoles. Perhapes that's why the size is so low.

30GB? Did you say... 30GB? For a game from 2007?

THIS WAS MADE ON THE NINTENDO WII! YOU COULD PLAY THIS ON THE N-GAGE!

I have Crysis and Bioshock installed, both are 8GB. Crysis is only more if you count Warhead (another 8GB) and Wars (5GB).

most steam games compress really well. its just ubisoft and ea games that make you download the full size games. CS;G) decompresses a 5gb download to more than 10 GB, and dota 2 is 14GB after decompression, but only a 6GB download. whereas with ea games the download size is pretty much the game size.

Seriously, why the ♥♥♥♥ is games on steam sio big????? 30 GB for an old game that originally was about 5GB (uncompressed). What the Hell?????
How is anyone able to spend 2 days downloading this
oh it's the ultimate sith edition with HD graphic 1080p....
I DON'T WANT 1080p!!!!! Steam should give the possibility to choose various versions with different qualities.

Imagine if youtube only had ultra HD 4K videos. Oh you want to watch this 2min video of a cat? OK it's only 2000GB and will take 2 weeks to download.

Again, steam should give the possibility to choose different, less large, versions to download. Not everyone has super high fibre data plan and ultra huge HDD!!!!

Please steam do this!

And how would you do that, exactly? It has nothing to do with "HD" levels, otherwise you wouldn't be able to play Half-Life 1 and all its mods/expansions at 2880p with it taking up less than a single GB altogether.

Euphoria's just a messy engine, ahead of its time in some ways but sub-par in others (such as compression).

Huh. What's the name of the actual engine, then? Anyway, whatever it's called, it was extremely demanding and didn't play nice with PC users.
