It works well for PC version.
Any thoughts how it can be applied to MAC port of the game?

Thanks in advance!

It's probably an hex edit, just compare the two exes and maybe apply the same fix to the mac executables

Nothing is wrong with the 30FPS - it's the way the game was designed to be played. It's perfectly playable at 30FPS.

That said: 60FPS is much better/smoother/responsive - and since it's 2019 and where on PC, why not unlock the framerate to 60FPS if it doesnt hurt anything?

Well there is a problem that only happens at 60fps, might be the fix or the game itself.
When Force Gripping something the item will naturally travel up, and in the Jedi Temple DLC this is a progress stopper in the Jedi Knight Trials.
