Game won't launch, stuck on settings

Hello guys, has anyone encountered this problem before? After pressing Play, the launcher will apparently close just to open again and nothing else happens. I'm running Windows 10 x64, I've tried setting Compatibility Mode to Win7 and XP SP3.

It's strange, I'm on Windows 10 too and I have no problem without even try the compatibility mode. Have you try the Windows Vista SP2 compatibility mode? If it doesn't work, maybe you can try to reinstall the game. I had this problem with some pc games before but normally, that was because the games were too recent for my computer. Ok, I really don't know what worked. All I know is that after I updated to Windows 10 Anniversary Update, it worked. I left my 3 .exe files on Win7 compatibility mode. Thanks.

I know this is probably a bit late however after painstakingly working for hours to find a fix to this game not even starting up I finally found a solution. I don't give up easily and boy, when I say I was done trying to get it to work, I was so done. I had requested a refund and basically given up.

Then when I went to start up SWTFU2, since I just purchased both of these games. Lo and behold, I got an error pop up. I'm thinking GREAT!? Another one I'm going to spend hours getting to work. So I searched the error and came across a known fix that fixes alot of issues with the same error (I also noticed this error was the same as The first Force Unleashed when you click the EXE directly. I think this is the reason why the Launcher pops up, but when you click play nothing else happens).

So, I followed this https://youtu.be/1PbnHBkED4s Youtube video directly, not holding out much hope this time.

BUT to my amazement, after doing this easy, quick step the game actually starts after the Launcher options are chose and it works beautifully!

I hope this helps those who were at breaking point getting this game to work!
