Here are some secrets from a concerned console player. There is a massive, massive design flaw with this part of the game:
When aligning the ship, IGNORE THE ON-SCREEN PROMPTS. Once the ship is close, around the 3rd time you try to pull down the Star Destroyer, the prompts do not correctly guide you into the "Magic zone" that allows you to pull down the ship.
Rather than using the prompts as a guide, focus on getting the ship level with the ground, with the nose pointed in your direction. If it's pointed too far up, down, left or right, obviously you can't get it.
The TIE fighters are more easily destroyed by Force Grip than by Force Lightning. Stand to one side, where the TIEs fly closest to the bridge, and rapidly tap the grip key. TIEs will fly into range for a second or two as they start to turn away from the bridge. Even half a second of grip will kill a TIE, and, if you send it flying into another, as many as three others fighters with a single toss. Force energy is not wasted if you miss, unlike lightning.
I'm not sure how it's working on the PC, but when Kota says "Rip it out of the sky," just hold down whatever key they indicate. The console version had a prompt that made many players think they had to constantly move the analog sticks, when you just had to hold them down.
Yes i got extremely frustrated and angry. Salty is just a word for people with a very poor vocabulary and a lack of understanding for other players. People get "salty" left and right in the gaming community, both online and offline, for very different but still valid reasons. A salty person is never wrong, because a feeling can never be wrong. It's always true, to that person, and you would never point your finger and go Nelson's "ha-ha" to a crying person or a person in distress, so why would you do the same to me with your pointless "lmao" input?
It's not funny. It's something real that happened to me, and something that you, as someone who is clearly not myself, are in no position what so ever to demen, to belittle or to make fun of it. Shame on you.
So the game developers somehow knew there was a guy somewhere in the world "unable to control himself" so they coded the game accordingly? Your argument makes no sense what so ever.. The game isn't badly ported to PC BECAUSE of my inability to control myself, my inability to control myself comes from the badly ported game.
The longer you stretch out trying to pull it per life, the harder it will be. I'd reccomend just dying then trying again if you cant get it down within like three rounds of tye fighters. Just focus on scrolling your mouse till the star destroyer is pointing at you and a little bit upwards, then you should be good on pulling it down. (Dont worry about the red and green and the A and D). I kill the first round of Tye fighters, move the star destroyer to the middle, and just hold it there (dont pull it down) kill the next round of tie fighters asap, and that way the star destroyer is a lot closer to me being able to pull it down again. Good luck!
It's not skill. It's a ridiculously bad ported game, from console (and it's been confirmed by several major pc illustrated magazines, forums, veteran players and so on), so there is no skill or lack of skill in beating a severly broken and horribly bad ported game. My game was bugged, plain and simple, because apparently, if you take too long in the boss fight (take your time, to do it right, in my opinon) THEN the boss becomes stuck in his animations, and the star fighter only rotates, but never opens up for the option to be dragged down using the force. The ONLY way to win the fight, if you ever have the unfortune to reach that point, is simply to restart. It's like there is a hidden timer basicly. And there is no skill in having the knowledge of a hidden timer, anyone could beat that boss if you only hurry and use the "right strategy", because using any other strategy than the fastest (aka there is NO ROOM for personal playstyle - there is simply a wrong and a right way, and in this case, the only right way is the fastest) then you will loose, guaranteed.
Na, i was 19 like you.
That's you.
I also find it amusing you lecture people about self-control when clearly you lack it, as your profile is full of comments from people reacting to you going off on them in computer games. You do realize that freaking out on people in computer games, for any reason, is pretty immature and shows a lack of self control right? But then you're over the age of 12 and play Overwatch so perhaps I should lower my expectations...
Oh my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god, that burn. Thank you, Sir. <3
