No audio during game play

So I recently downloaded the game to repaly it and there is no audio during game play. The cut scenes still have the audio but not the actual game play. I've tried everything I can think of and nothing has worked.

anyone know how to fix this?

that does help but steam will redownload the files get ahold of aspyr

I've tried those both. the audio from most of the game is gone.

Sorry , I don't know how to fix it.

Maybe you can email Aspyr and they provide a better workaround ?

Poradnik dla polaków chcących włączyć dźwięk i polonizację tej gry. Za każdym razem po kliknięciu ikonki z grą należny uruchomić plik "STAR WARS The Force Unleashed-pl.reg" i uruchomić grę poprzez wciśnięcie przycisku"PLAY" . Wtedy w grze pojawi sie język polski.
W przypadku problemu z dźwiękiem należy wszystkie pliki z folderu "SWTFU_Fixed_Files" rozpakować i wkleić w folderu "dyskgdziejeststeam/steam/steamapps/common/star wars the force Unleashed/LevelPack" i zamienić istniejące pliki.

Well, I found something that might fix your problem.

Enable Directplay in your windows(If you have windows 10) and see if it will fix it.

I'm having some problems with sound, too. In-game SFX/voices are barely a whisper, and can barely hear them over music. I already had Directplay enabled, so that doesn't fix it for me.

I see something on PCGamingWIki about the surround sound being broken. Generally setting system audio to stereo is recommended. Tried that, no difference. Then I went back into options and, noticing all audio is set default to 50%, I cranked SFX and voices up to 100%. Now music was barely audible. So, I cranked that up, too, and it all seems about right now.

Seems that the internal audio scaling may be bad.
