PROBLEMS WHILE OPENING WINDOWS 10

Game is crashing while starting on Windows 10. I tried to change compatibility but it didnt help. Also I tied to rename main file to Launcher and this also didnt work. Do anyone have the same problem? Help me please!

I don't know what to say, I just bought the game a while ago (like three days ago) and it has only crashed once and that was mid game. Maybe try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it? Also, make sure to put the admin password in when prompted, I haven't done that and my game works fine but yours might be a different story. Also, if u have a lot of stuff running in the background or lots of memory taken up, that might also be effecting the game. Also, also, maybe lower the graphics when the little pop up appears.

I have the same issue... I have tried also to run with compatibility changed. no one seems to have an answer. is it that hard just to be a bad arse sith?

The SWTFU.exe that comes with steam is VERY broken so you have to download a cracked version

Here is how

1. Download SWTFU.exe from here:
https://megagames.com/fixes/star-wars-force-unleashed-ultimate-sith-edition

2. rename the file that you just downloaded to STAR.WARS.TFUUSE.V1.0.ENG.RELOADED.NOCD.ZIP
This will let you open the file and take out SWTFU.exe

3. Now go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars The Force Unleashed" and replace SWTFU.exe with the new one you just downloaded

4. Now run it


There you go!

PS: you may have to create a shortcut on the desktop instead of launching the game through steam it may still think you are using the broken one :)

The game runs fine for me until I kill Kazdan Paratus. Then right before the cutscene drops the game vanishes and Windows says the game stopped working. Think I'll try WoodenViking's fix.

yeah when i was attacking Kazdan Paratus, he got glitched out inplace and i couldn't kill him XD I haven't played since that happened (been busy) so idk if I will have the same problem or not. So far my game works fine.

@ WoodViking I did this but the problem is that I CAN NOT SAVE no matter what I try...Do you have any work-arounds that you know of? I just want to be able to save!

Grrrrrr. I know man. never been able too (even on the PS3) I think it's the type of game/Engine (Don't quote me on that), The Uncharted series has the same issue

I know this is probably a bit late however after painstakingly working for hours to find a fix to this game not even starting up I finally found a solution. I don't give up easily and boy, when I say I was done trying to get it to work, I was so done. I had requested a refund and basically given up.

Then when I went to start up SWTFU2, since I just purchased both of these games. Lo and behold, I got an error pop up. I'm thinking GREAT!? Another one I'm going to spend hours getting to work. So I searched the error and came across a known fix that fixes alot of issues with the same error (I also noticed this error was the same as The first Force Unleashed when you click the EXE directly. I think this is the reason why the Launcher pops up, but when you click play nothing else happens).

So, I followed this https://youtu.be/1PbnHBkED4s Youtube video directly, not holding out much hope this time.

BUT to my amazement, after doing this easy, quick step the game actually starts after the Launcher options are chose and it works beautifully!

I hope this helps those who were at breaking point getting this game to work!
