Cause: Exception

Hi I'm trying to play the game co-op with my friends but whenever I join it makes me leave and displays cause: exception. Does anyone have a fix to this bug?

I have this Problem too... I can host for one round and its fine. going itno the second round it disconnects.

I can´t join into any lobbys from my firends either :(

i am using crossover on my mba m2 for this and i am getting the same error. i have no idea if i have cfosspeed downloaded, ive looked everywhere. can anyone help?

I think I got a fix. I fixed my issue when I shortened my steam username (different account from the one I'm posting this reply on). right now, it's a name with eight characters (lowercase and numbers, no spaces or special characters). It doesn't make sense, but it fixed the problem for me.
