Also while I stay on topic constantly you detail it by starting a witch hunt over some other games in my library. As said textbook terminally online behavior and kinda creepy.
I have literally never talked to you about other games in your library, you're mixing me up with someone else who you've evidently pissed off by being a petulant child in a forum, biting people's legitimate constructive criticism of this title.

And there are hundreds of thousands of people playing many games that have issues, that just play through them and don't get involved in attempting to improve them. Me and my two friends all came to the same conclusion that the flow in question could be improved, so we're communicating it to the developers of an early access game . It's kind of the point of this phase of development. So, as ever, take your jackassery elsewhere, because A - you're not remotely impressive B - you're bringing nothing to the conversation and C - absolutely no one cares for your feedback on their feedback.

if you dont want the game to be unwinnable, dont break ♥♥♥♥ lol
if there is no items left on map you can try farming monsters. also, if you don't want to lose your progress, you can copy and save your save folder and add it again once it gets deleted after you fail your run.

Other than farming monsters, your done. Hopefully your team stops screwing around next match GL :D

whether its a skill issue or not is irrelevant. the point of a "discussion" page is to discuss things and ASK QUESTIONS. does that makes sense? if a person who maybe has not played the game or games before comes on here asks a question, they shoulld be met with helpful feedback instead of mean and egotistical comments. do better kid
Which is literally what I did, I gave the OP an answer. Which you literally quoted with your witch hunt rant.

I can bet 60% or more don't even bother with the tutorial.
The automated self destruct part is impossible to program though, monsters do respawn how is the game supposed to know you lack the skills to take down the monsters? Also you already have a self destruct option in the menu for when you decide you are stuck.

Can make you OP fast. Depending on what you get in stage 1 you can easily get over 500k. I had 4 ducks on the academy map, easy to kill by using the pots with the green soup. Had 46k in items and close to 20k from killing ducks as they respawned once.
The spewers are also easy to kill and farm, but you need a ring or goblet to hit them with it.

I'm actually really curious if there are checks in place to ensure you have enough items to meet quota. My last game with friends (nothing whacky happened no abnormal amount of items being damaged) got to level 6. On this level we ended up dying to monsters, but we had made it practically all the way through the - mostly linear - map clearing every room and were already past the 3rd (of 4) extract before we had enough loot to secure the first extract quota. There were only a few rooms left on the whole map and I have some doubt there was enough loot in them to clear the remaining 3 quotas. (though technically possible)
This was wildly abnormal, there were only small and low value medium loot and a looot of empty/1 item rooms.

In either case the layout of loot in the level, at the very least, needs to be looked into by the devs, I feel.

I've played this game over 100 hours now and I can tell you, you probably did not search good enough. Starting stage 3, maps have big value items that can complete 1 quota by themselves, not to mention a ton of small items. Also monsters on that stage respawn fast so you could farm on them but that is beside the point. The maps are designed to spawn 3 to 5 times of the total quota of all extractions in items total value.

So you either got a ultra rare bug that generated not enough or you did not search enough, and considering how many times I see people on stages 3+ that never check high places I am quite certain it's the latter. Especially on the academy maps there is a lot of parkour to get to items that are in high places, and the other two maps are not far behind in the weird places you can find items on.

Of the rooms I had access to (over 3/4ths of the map) I searched every nook and cranny. (I was alive for a solid 30 mins trying to get enough quota to resurrect the other 5 players) and am very meticulous about searching for loot, looking on top and under everything. and obviously wanted to find items closer to the first extract. (I hate missing items generally full clearing maps.) So I'm guessing it was a bug, or there was an astronomical amount of items in the remaining 4~ rooms.

Could be possible that round could have spawned high value big items and place them all near the last extraction. Happened to me once in stage 6, but i still had enough items for the first extraction.

Basically you can be either super lucky with a run or super unlucky id say yours was super unlucky, kinda like i got a stage 1 as solo with 3 sets of gnomes. There are some really lucky ones like the stage 3 i got with 2 spewers and 2 upscreams, which both are super easy to kill and since its stage 3 they respawned quite often, think i extracted somewhere around 180k farming on those monsters. But thats basically the charm of a rogue game,

I still did not see even one case of my run ending cause of lack of items. Usually die to the monsters.
Lies ^
If your quota is ~21k x3 (total of ~63k), u'll get like ~90k (100k+ if u're lucky) on the map, making it possible to reach only if u didn't break ~30k+ item by an accident or bug.
If u did break an item like statue, piano, bone sculpture, big box etc. it'd probably better if u restart the run already to save yourself a struggle of searching every corner to reach the quota.

You are the one lying. I played 4 times more than you do, i have a much bigger sample size to say what i said. Example stage 4 i get 3 10k quotas to extract, total is around 30k i extract with 120k which is 4 times what was needed, lets go next map, stage 5 i have 3 quotas for 21k for a total of 63k, i extract with 108 after almost totally breaking several item from which one of them was the griffin and one was the big vase. If you break 1 high value item like a piano you still have plenty to complete the whole stage, in fact most of the time you could easily break 2 and still manage. Stop lying when you just need to git gud.

Nah, you've been talking nonsense this entire thread, because you're writing with your ego, not with facts. It is, objectively, possible to be beyond the goal value and not have the items to get there. If caused by breakage or enemies or whatever, it is possible to be in a position where you can't win, which sucks. All your "I'm so experienced, I'm so good" doesn't contradict the facts, it just makes you look like a kid on a forum trying to impress people. And failing.
