it happens. hope they add a cap to the number of dolls that can spawn in a level at some point cause that was kinda lame
The proof that the games devs should not listen to such people and focus on their vision of the game is in plenty of early access games that fail miserably and lose 99% playerbase in a few days/weeks just cause the devs listen to casuals and try to make a game for everyone, cause a game for everyone is a game for no one.
At least we can see from the updates the dev give in the videos, that they understand that you cant please everyone, so i hope they keep up with their vision and dont destroy another promising game by listening to casuals
Once you get to like level 4 or 5 the baby creatures and other monsters destroy everything you try and collect it's annoying I ran out of items a few times and can't continue.
given your digital footorint id be careful how you treat other players.
on your steam profile i found that you enjoy hentai, like playing as little girls,
you play a lot of games with questionable thumbnails, insinuating your a simp for a good waifu
you have games actually banned by steam in your library, probably because they were either too NSFW or because they were scammed.
the game "dungeon legion"
"dragon spear" stuff like that is really questionable,
all im saying is be careful where you hate... poeple can always look you up :)
BTW Games that are not in steam shop are stuff like games taken out of steam cause they rerelease a game again just to make more money like KOEI TECMO and Square Enix. or companies that closed down and being only publishers of translated versions of games found on DLSITE, they had to give back the licenses and stop selling them on steam. None of them gone for being too NSFW, cause by definition NSFW would apply to a lot of games like GTA or Red Dead Redemption. But i guess im talking to someone from the "modern audience" type of people, who water down terms and/or dont know the meaning of terms they use.
Also the two games you mention are not even taken out of steam they still available, but i guess you run out of stuff that you can attack me for.
Also unlike you, im not hiding my library, cause i have nothing to hide unlike you who clearly has some skeletons in his closet, not to mention games can be hidden from your library as well, which considering you only allow game library on public view, you probably have some games on hidden list so others can see them.
Ah yes, the classic ‘if you're offended, go see a doctor’ argument—truly the peak of intellectual debate. Just because something doesn’t personally bother you doesn’t mean it can’t be criticized. That’s like saying if someone dislikes a movie, they need therapy. It’s a lazy attempt to shut down discussion.
As for your rambling about games getting removed from Steam, you’re missing the point entirely. Just because GTA and RDR have NSFW elements doesn’t mean all NSFW content is treated equally on Steam. There have been games removed for being too explicit—Denpasoft titles, certain adult VNs, and even some Western indie games have been pulled for that reason. Pretending otherwise doesn’t change reality.
And then there’s your weird obsession with my Steam library. Dude, why are you so pressed about what’s public and what’s not? Not everyone wants random strangers analyzing their playtime like it’s a government investigation. But since you brought it up—what exactly are you hoping to find? Some deep, dark secret? Newsflash: hiding your library settings doesn’t mean someone is guilty of something. You sound like a guy who lost an argument and is now grasping at straws to make it personal.
Try again when you have an actual point instead of deflections and bad takes
2. What's your point since I don't own any of those?
3. Pot calling the kettle black. You are the one with the obsession of checking someone's profile to find something to complain and attack for since you are the one who did it first. Stay on topic, but since you can't the discussion is over.
4. Also you are missing the point. It's not "if you feel offended" it is "if you fish for reasons to be offended". You reply to my post that is perfectly on topic in a roguelike comedy horror game, by complaining about games in my library that have nothing to do with this game, which you first had to go and search for in my 400+ have library. That is textbook terminally online behavior.
Pffffft, buddy, point 1 is RICH. You've spent every waking effort in this thread being cringe and childish to any player giving constructive feedback on this game. Anyone who has had an issue with this game's design has been called all manner of noob and idiot by you. You simply cannot play that card, kid.
Right, because the only opinions that matter are from those who have played the game a LOT. (Obvious sarcasm)
It IS unclear (when first going in) that you can softlock/fail to meet quota. This is a valid piece of criticism that CAN help the devs change the game to make it more beginner friendly (or just flesh out the tutorial), so hop off your high horse and accept that people who tried the game and couldn't get into it can have valid criticisms of the game.
Parroting 'skill issue, get better' doesn't do anything but make you like a jackass.
Also while I stay on topic constantly you detail it by starting a witch hunt over some other games in my library. As said textbook terminally online behavior and kinda creepy.
I understand the game. You're just a ♥♥♥♥ for talking down to new players who don't want to treat a casual game like it's dark souls by learning EVERY monster attack and EVERY trick to avoid/kill them. If it was a 'hardcore' game then saying it's just a matter of learning (to be less ♥♥♥♥♥ about it) is fine, but it's not and pointing out that newer players are soft-locking due to a lack of items is a very addressable issue as a developer (just point it out as a possibility in the tutorial, have the bots self destruct when the value of remaining items + enemies' potential value is less than remaining quota etc) that doesn't warrant such a chronically online response. The devs don't need to make it handholdy, they just need to have ANY plans for a pretty obvious game state that wasn't at all accounted for (not having money) and assumes the player understands to reset via the main menu or die.
Is it an issue that stems from misplaying, yeah. But the last thing people giving advice want to see is someone with more hours talk down and be a ♥♥♥♥ (when they never wanted YOUR input anyways). It's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clear they can avoid soft-locking by 'getting good' they don't need you to tell them.
'You can also start purchasing games by looking at what types of games they are not just cause they are popular.' This is such a nothing burger point, the game is SO CLEARLY CASUAL. People have seen and probably played Lethal Company so it's not ridiculous to assume R.E.P.O would've had some kind of contingency for not having the money necessary to meet quota. I really don't understand how the item collector hitbox being a tad unclear, or softlocks not being accounted for or pretty much anything else mentioned in the thread are issues related to not knowing 'what kind of game' R.E.P.O is, they're just things that are unclear within the game or developer oversights. It is a COMEDY HORROR, I'm pretty sure that's attracting a casual audience and it's reasonable to assume a game like that is straightforward.
