Loading Issues

Me and 3 other friends just bought the game but we're having loading issues. Everytime I host the game, we're able to get one round in and after leaving the shop, my game is stuck on the loading screen while my friends are able to load in no problem. Everytime they host the game, I immediately enter the game but none of the three have loaded in and it says stuck like that. We've tried uninstalling, verifying, even changing which drive the game was on, but nothing has changed. Any fixes?

Edit: So far, I've found NOTHING to fix this. I've tampered with the settings, verified files, tried administrator, attempted running it at dx11/12, tried uninstalling/reinstalling, even updated to windows 11 and bios, graphics are updated, just nothing works. I've tried mods, it still doesn't work.

There is also a saved file when I try to host already there, it's not mine, and I can't boot it up nor delete it. When I try to host, I'd have to spam the Yes button until it works and sometimes it just doesn't work at all.

I have multiple Ideas what could be the problem if you want to test everything in order to get the game running:

1. Look if you can update your Graphics Drivers. In many games this is the best Hot-Fix :D
2. Try to play the game in Windowed mode. Sometimes the environment breaks apart If you just match the min. requirements.
3. If you are running Backround Apps make sure to turn off any Hardware boosts for it (discord has it turned on by default)
4. Make sure nothing other than your game is pulling your Up- and Download connection up to 2 MB/s.
5. Try to change Graphicsettings. Maybe some effects like the one when you spawn in could make your GPU Utilization go up to 100%.

If the game runned in Windowed mode stick to 5. in Fullscreen till it works.

6. If not and you have a second SSD-Drive: Try to run the game on linux. If it's not installable go to properties- search for something called Proton and try experimental or the latest verison. Proton need less of your hardware to run the system resolving in AM3+ processors to keep up in modern gaming for some games. (Can play games like Warframe on highest setting on my 2014 build using Proton on Nobara)

had this issue yesterday. i think it has something to do with first time loading into the game. first would be wait for a bit before going in, such as in the van where you can eat upgrades. once you and your friends played every level once it stops. usually just restart and recreate the lobby.

I have this issue and I have 2gbps internet speeds over lan and have WAY above recommended with 32gb of ram and a RX7800XT and a I7-10700k, a few mb/s or running at 30fps isnt gonna cause a audio chat bug? Its a issue with the games voice chat itself causing the bug

I have a friend who was just having this problem tonight. I can't promise it'll work for you, but what worked for us was changing the launch options on Steam to DirectX 11. It was a last-ditch effort we didn't think would work, but for some reason, it did!

Open Steam > Library.

Right-click R.E.P.O., select Properties.

Under Launch Options, type:

“-dx11” → Forces the game to run in DirectX 11.

If that doesn’t work, try “-dx12” for DirectX 12 instead.

I have the same issue, whenever we try to play, we get stuck on loading screen cause of me. If someone leaves the game, it starts for us right away but whenever they try to play without me, it works fine with them. I’ve done everything they mentioned on internet and it still didn’t fix my problem.

i have an issue of after clicking the host game and create a new game and click yes it doesn't response its like not clicking the yes button even i click it already. just like in the single player. after selecting new and hit yes it doesn't response. can someone help me on this?

We got the same issue yesterday, we played with mods installed and couldnt get pass the loading screen as soon as i left game started, its probably a game issue, but after we tried to play without mods it started right away dont know if turning mods off was the reason but it helped

Same thing happened to me and my friends,idk if its just about the mods or the moreplayers mod

Still game not working. I can't get into lobby or made my own lobby. Tryed to run it like waiting 30 min to loading. Nothing from things written above mentioned works
